Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream
Following a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore that lasts through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.
Primary Feature
The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.
A regional fantasy map generated in the CC3+ software platform.
Package Levels
Basic Package
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. Mid-Range Option
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, but you can also select any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
